The Worm House Ltd was set up to manufacture Hand-Made Breeding and Observation centres for Superworms and Mealworms.
We have developed a Pupae Hide that the Superworms can go into and turn into beetles at their own pace. If you like entomology then this is a must as you can watch daily as the lava changes into a Pupae and then into a beetle through the clear plastic front
Our Story
We set up in 2020 during the pandemic.
Our goal was to manufacture a Breeding and Observation box that children would be able to own in there own bedrooms with the knowledge that they are secure in the wheel locked breeding box.
Your children can be amazed as the Superworms turn into beetles in full view through the clear front of the pupae Hide.
Throw in a bit of plastic or polystyrene and watch as the Superworms eat through them.

How Our Breeding and Observation Box Became a Game-Changer:- By not having to separate the Superworms from the colony you stop the stressing process and therefor no more bad smell caused by stress as they metamorphosis.

Unveiling Our Vision: We believe that we have made accessible to all children the ability to own one of these observation boxes with the knowledge that if they were to drop it the insects will continue to remain in the box with the screw lid sliding Perspex lid. (Must not be thrown or slammed down)

From Idea to Reality: The Making of Our Breeding and Observation Box took 4 years to design and develop. We are open to other ideas that will make this product more enjoyable to own
